Beginner’s Class: Surah Anfal Ayah 24 and Surah Maedeh Ayah 32.  Please practice the Arabic and review the meaning.

Advanced Class: We read the first page of Surah Fusselat and talked about the Day of Judgment.  Try and find more ayahs about the Day of Judgment so that you can come up with a list of all events that will take place on that day.

This week we completed Surah Ma-edeh Ayah 32.  Please use www.tanzil.info to help you practice the ayah for next week.  We talked about how Allah (SWT) has equated many of the sins we commit in this world to killing all of humanity, and the fact of helping a person, as saving all of humanity.

This ayah was an introduction to the story of Prophet Idris which we will insha…. begin next week.  Can any of you think as to why Prophet Idris is known as IDREES… Here’s a hint:

Fun day of reading and talking about Surah Maedeh (#5) ayah 32.  We were able to read three lines of it and understand some of the translation.

As an assignment for next week, you MUST be able to read the first three lines of the this ayah VERY fluently.  Use www.tanzil.info to practice the ayah.

As we have all learned, reciting one ayah in the month of Ramadhan is equivalent to finishing the Quran in any other month.

This week the sisters’ Beginners and Advance Quran class joined each other to recite the 30th Juz of Quran. Each person recited more than one Surah while others were following along ….

The brothers continued their endeavor to finish the Quran and completed Juz 8 of the Holy Quran.

We are still working on sooreye Nooh, we are doing ayes #11-#16. We talked about  prophet Noah who told the people if they do what he says  Allah will bless them with rain, wealth, children, gardens,and rivers. The homework is to practice ayes #11-#16.

WOW! What a week for Mohebban Fatemeh. First we started out playing soccer with Abdol hamid, then brother came and we all went inside. We waited a little for Brother Haj Amin to come. When he arrived we got to see his really cutie daughter. We first each read an ayah from Surah Luqman. Then Brother Haj Amin told us our new arabic words. Last week we had a test on those words but the brothers didn’t do so well. But insallah this up coming week we will get it.

We are continuing on Surah Nuh, but we need more practice with our ayahs. Please be sure to practice so that we can move on. Use www.quranexplorer.com as a source that mah had posted up a while back.

Our ayahs for next week are Surah Nuh: 1-6.

Allah does not punish people for no reason. Hazrat Nour was sent by Allah to warn the people about a terrible thing that would happen to them if they did not worship Allah. Hazrat Nour tells them that he is a clear warner sent from Allah. The people did not belive Hazrat Nour’s warning to stop being polythiestic and come and worship the one god Allah. The straw game that we played should us that you have to always careful and thinkm about what you do.

This week quran class was really great. The brothers in brother Haj Amir’s class first read ayahs 15-19 taking turns and reading two ayahs at a time. After everybody had read two ayahs, brother Haj Amir told the brothers that each week he will tech them 5-10 arabic words. He would also like for the brothers to memerize them by the next week.This week the brothers learned 8 new arabic words.

مِن meaning from
مَعَ meaning along
عَبۡدُ ٱللَّهِ meaning servent of allah
قُلۡ meaning say
رَبِّىٓ meaning lord
ذِكۡرِ meaning rememberence

Brother Haj Amir also said that he is a really fun person but everything has it’s time, in quran class we learn and when we finish we can joke and play.

After learning the words, brother Haj Amir read ayahs 20-23 about two or three
times. Then the brothers each read two ayahsform 20-23. Brother Haj Amir said inshallah he will learn the names of each and every brother in a few weeks, he would like the brothers to help him.
Brothers please practice ayahs 20-23 in surah Al-Jinn, and please memerize the the 8 arabic worbs by next week.
ALSO BROTHERS PLEASE BRING A PEN/PENCIL AND A NOTEBOOK OR PIECE OF PAPER TO CLASS EVERY WEEK.

This week was a little different that the other weeks. After our games, we went inside and did quran with a new teacher. In the quran class we each had to read the five ayas and whenever one person finishes the other person reads the five ayas and etc. Other than that the class was a normal class.

Before Quran, we had a soccer game, and we also had the program for aid which was pretty funny, and this week was Amin’s birthday! Happy birthday Amin!! The week before that was also Amir Eslaminejad’s too. Happy birthday to you too!! The quran ayas were ayas 16-20 in surah al-jinn.
