Nothin’ finer: Carolina cruises to NCAA title
by zar on Apr.07, 2009, under Sports Center
For a year, maybe more, North Carolina could feel this national championship coming.
the Tar Heels stomped out Michigan State’s inspirational run Monday night with an 89-72 blowout that wasn’t that close.
“I felt like it was fitting for us to do what this group just accomplished,” coach Roy Williams said. This was Carolina’s fifth championship. Well the Spartans, they never had a chance.
The Tar Heels were up 55-34 at halftime, breaking a 42-year-old title-game record for biggest lead at the break and setting the mark for most points at the half. Carolina won every game by double digits, something that hasn’t happened since Duke did it in 2001.
President Barack Obama picked the Tar Heels to take it all in his much-publicized bracket.
Magic Johnson, Michigan State’s Spartan-in-Chief, joined Larry Bird at center court to present the game ball, a tribute to the 30-year anniversary of their historic matchup and Michigan State’s first title.
From there, it was pretty much all “Showtime,” all the time — but not for Michigan State. Heck, Magic didn’t even stick around for the end. He was spotted walking up the tunnel with 3½ minutes left.

Ronaldinho Gear

Ronaldinho fifa 09 majick
Here is Ronaldinho showing his magick in the game FIFA 09 for ps3.

Ronaldinho Jersy
This is Ronaldinho’s official A.c. Milan club team. Since Ronaldinho spend a lot of his soccer career at his old club F.C. Barcelona(football club of barcelona) he is often confused as still being in F.C Barcelona. But in reality he recently has switched to A.C. Milan. There With his buddy kaka he is still being awesome and even excelling as always.

Nike Tiempo Shoes
This is ronaldinho’s special edition red shoes which are awesome at accuracy, control and ball handling, and power. Since ronaldinho along with his friend Messi are one of the top ball controllers and handlers of all time therefore it is only fitting and important that his shoes are build for the same thing.

Ronaldinho New Ball
This is a new ball that Ronaldinho has approved of. Ronaldinho is a Nike person and I think he is sponsored by Nike. Therefore every soccer gear he has is based on the Nike brand.

Ronaldinho's Shin Guard and Socks
This is Ronaldinho’s shin guard and socks. He cant use this in an official game since he has to wear the teams own shin guard and Socks. He wears this kind of shin guard off the field and not in official games.

Official 08-09 home soccer jersey for ronaldinho's international soccer team Brazil
This is Ronaldinho’s Brazil jersey for this year. He also plays with kaka in his International team too. That is why they are buddies
As I saw all of these pictures of Ronaldinho’s gears I began to remember about our plan for a moheban-e-fate soccer jersies. I really think we should build on that when the coach comes. That way we would have an official look and we wont look mixed. We would look like an athletic and organized soccer team who knows what they are doing. We would also provide official soccer pictures of our team in action (in our website). This would prove (To any critics or outsiders) that our team is not just focused on Islam 24/7 and has no fun. This would also improve our moral attitude towards soccer. We would also learn to use real equipment which would enchance and improve our soccer experience, knowledge, and skills. Another benefit of official soccer gear is that when people see this they might join our group and get involved in our Islamic activities and fun.

NCAA Elite Eight
by zar on Mar.29, 2009, under Sports Center
At first we wanted UMD men to win the NCAA. Once they were eliminated from the tournament my next team pick was Washington. Now both teams are kicked off. So who are we going to root for? Well, the Terrapin woman are actually doing very well in the NCAA Women’s tournament. They rallied from 18 down to beat Vanderbilt 78-74 on Saturday to advance to the Elite Eight. on the 30th they will play 3 ranked Louisville. the heat is on. 1st rank vs. 3rd rank.

Our Soccer Goal
by mah on Mar.28, 2009, under Sports Center
Insha……. we will reach up to their level in soccer by the help of everyone. We also need to try our best and not fool around if we want to improve our skills in soccer. We have listen and f0llow directions of the future coming coach but most importantly : WE HAVE TO PLAY RIGHT! If you don’t want to play that’s fine but don’t ruin the game for the rest of us. We also need to have a little more time for soccer because i feel that we are trying to accomplish a lot of different activities at one time.
Post your opinions in the comment section. I would like to hear what you have to say about this.
