FIFA 09

Fifa 09 is by far a great soccer game. It has all new real life action and moves. With over 350 new animations and 30 new skills and signature moves you can have a lot of fun playing with over a 1000 of your favorite players. For Xbox and ps3 costumers can connect it to internet and get real life rosters on every player in FIFA. Based on how the player is doing in real life matches, the players status gets updated in the game even if the player is injured. Plus it has many different game modes like tournament mode, practice mode, be a pro, etc…. It also has many other cool stuff like players shop, music, player background, etc…….This game is the best soccer game out in the market.

A few days ago I was able to get my hands on a Super Nintendo emulator and play a game that I used to play 10 years ago, Super Mario Kart.

I think I can say with full confidence that this was probably the best game out on Super Nintendo.  From the red shells, to mushrooms, to the battle modes, rare lightning bolt races, it was just terrific.  Graphics may not have been great but the idea and strategy of hte game was amazing. I think it’s safe to say that I learned how to drive from this game …

I was thinking though, what if I had grown up in today’s day and age.  Would I have experienced the full excitement of the ultimate Super Mario Kart?  Well, I don’t have time to write a complete analysis of Super Mario Kart from its evolution through the N64, GameCube and now Wii, but I think it’s safe to say that the game that I loved so much, the game that would bring joy to my heart every time I played it has been modernized …

I don’t think today’s youth will experience the full potential of what they could have felt with the classic Super Mario Kart.  I had played this once a while back with the hope that it would bring back memories and there were just so many new characters (some of which were not even Mario Characters, what is Pacman doing in Super Mario Kart!!!!) and the fact that there are so many new items like that dumb rocket that just shoots a person to first place completely ruins the game for those that take pride in their gamemanship. I just kept falling off the grid because the controls were too sensitive.

I hope our youth today will be given the chance to someday experience the excitement from the Super Mario Kart and Nintendo comes out with a game that actually requires thought and skill to play…

Today’s world is all about technology. But we need to know how to us these technologies to our advantages. It is okay to have fun, play games, in fact Allah encourages you to have fun but just like Brother Islami said KNOW YOUR LIMITS! We need to know when to stop. Balance your fun with something else like education, Quran , books, Islamic or other educational stories, working on this website etc…………
